Painting Baby Cav

Are you guys sick of belly pictures yet?

My doctor gave me the go- ahead to paint now that I'm into my third trimester so long as the room is well-ventilated, the paint is water-based latex, and I don't fall off the ladder (insert joke here).

I thought I had all of the bases covered, but I guess I never noticed that when I was wiping my gloved hands on my shirt, the paint was going right through!

Baby Cav's been body painted and she's not even born yet!

No worries, I haven't poured toxic chemicals into her bloodstream, it washed right off. But it made for a couple of funny pictures.

Baby's First Beach Day

29 weeks and counting...

With the ever-increasing insurance premiums and property taxes, impending hurricanes and constant home improvements we sometimes wonder why we came out here.

And then we have days like this.

We decided to take a late afternoon break from all of the projects at the house. Just five minutes from our front door; Baby Cav had her first beach day.

It was heavenly; no waves to speak of, bathtub-warm water, just floating peacefully at sunset. Ahhhhh...

Of course it tuned into a mini photo-op too as dad played with his new underwater housing for the snappy cam. Here's a fun belly distortion pic for you.
