Public speaking, yikes!

Sophia's school was one of four elementary schools in the District to be chosen to represent Broward Schools during the kickoff to Literacy Week Florida. She was one of 8 student council members chosen to recite her lines in front of several hundred guests. I just don't know how she does it, but Sophia always rises to the occasion. So proud of this girl conquering her fears. Check out the video here: Broward County Public Schools - Friday Focus

Stone Crabbing in Islamorada

When we were down in Islamorada for Sophia's dive meet, our friend Marc took us out to pull a few of his stone crab traps. What a cool adventure for our Florida girls!
