Summer Road Trip 2021: Seventy-Four Ranch
To cap off our trip, we spent a couple of days at Seventy-Four Ranch, a working cattle ranch in northern Georgia. We stayed in an adorable cabin, we spent tons of time with the horses and the girls even got to ride, Sophia had her first driving lesson (in an old truck in the middle of the cow pasture), we had s'mores by the campfire, and there was no wi-fi (which was awesome)!
Summer Road Trip 2021: Amicalola Falls, Ga.
The name Amicalola comes from a Cherokee word meaning "tumbling waters". The waterfall itself is 729-feet high and they've cunningly (or punishingly, depending on your perspective) built stairs alongside of it to get from the upper to the lower falls. So. Many. Steps. But so worth it. Amicalola Falls State Park
Summer Road Trip 2021: Tri-State Peak Trail
We hiked the Tri-State Peak Trail in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park where we stood in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia all at the same time.
Summer Road Trip 2021: Conner Prairie
Day trip to Conner Prairie, where La Tiny played a piano from the 1830's, the girls got grossed out by leeches, they learned to weave baskets and also how to throw axes!
Summer Road Trip 2021: Indianapolis
The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, downtown Indianapolis, and Trader's Point Creamery.
