Sophie's first spot news
With the threat of Tropical Storm Fay looming, schools and daycares decided to close which means Sophie spent Tuesday working with mommy, covering the storm's aftermath.
She must think my job is really boring since she fell asleep both times!
One trip out in the car...
Another in the Bjorn...
I was in charge of updating the online photo gallery, and shooting some stuff close to home. Sophie loves an adventure, so we went out once the storm had passed to see what was up in the world.

New friend
Cristobal and his family came for a visit today and Sophie was totally enthralled with his daughter Victoria. What a beautiful little girl; what a great time we all had.

Sophie v8.5
I shot this video to share with you what life is like with Sophie at 8 1/2 months (admittedly, she's now 9 1/2 months old and it's taken me nearly a month to find time to edit and post it).
We're just enjoying our girl so much! She's got so many new tricks and talents and just loves to explore her world.
